The Machine Intelligence Call Assistance System (MICAS) service is cloud-based software that collects machine data through a locally installed, secure agent and provides detailed reports on MFP customers’ fleets. With the MICAS app, MFP service technicians can access MICAS data about specific devices, so they have a library of resources at every service call, all right from their phones. Once technicians enter the MFP serial number into the app, they receive immediate access to specific machine data, including: • Machine totals • Toner levels • Alerts • Current firmware version Troubleshooting resources are automatically available to help technicians troubleshoot devices. • Download drivers • View service bulletins, service manuals, and technical bulletins If technicians require assistance from the Technical Action Center (hotline), they can create a ticket and receive a verification code right from the app. When calling the Technical Action Center with the verification code, technicians will be connected to the right personnel to assist them quickly.
